So Italian...my hotel room is on the second floor. To get there, you push the "1" button on the elevator. "0"..."-1"(?!) In our constant bleary-eyed state, it takes a while to wrap your brain around it. They might as well have buttons that say "%" or "$"

That's so funny, so 0 is the lobby and -1 is the basement right? It makes more sense than our system, I like that.
Ok, let me guess.."$" is for the restaurant floor, "?" for "rider's choice" and "!" means "stuck".
